Las Particularidades

The paper is tagged yellow, chalk-surfaced paper. Like the papers in series 1 and 2, the image side of the paper shows a yellow tone to UV light. The back, or gum side, of the stamp can be distinguished into 3 types:

Type 1: weak bluish-white opaque appearance, mottled in intensity, image slightly visible
Type 2: uniform bright bluish-white opaque appearance, image invisible
Type 3: no response to darkish yellow appearance, image on front slightly visible

The gum for used in Series 4 is dull light ivory in appearance.

The perforations, either harrow (h) or comb (c), are noted below.

All 2 peso stamps have a dot in the V of Davidson.
