The paper is untagged, chalk-filled paper. The gum is dull ivory. Hi-brite front and a moderate degree of luminescensce on back. The perforations, either harrow (h) or comb (c), are noted below. If placed on a dark surface with the gum side up, the design of the stamp may be seen through the paper. The standard 14 perf of the series is 14 (horizontal) x 14.25 (vertical). the standard 11.5 perf of the series is 11.5 (horizontal) x 11.25 (vertical). The standard 11 perf of the series is 11 (horizontal) x 11.25 (vertical).

The 200 and 300 peso varieties also have the security burelage overlay inverted.

In 1984, two sizes, 37.3 and 36 mm., of the 1.00 peso conductores comb performation were printed: 400,000 planillas of the 36 mm. and 153,228 planillas of the large, 37.3 mm. In 1985, they were both printed again: 209,000 planillas of the small 36 mm. and 400,000 of the large, 37.3 mm.

Printed in a harrow run of 200,000 planillas in 1984, and another harrow run of 602,125 planillas in 1985. There are definitely two shades of the paper, which makes basically four color varieties into six.
