      A Journey to Nowhere

I dream of things,
I have not yet seen.
I'm searching for places
I wish not to find,
I'm on a journey to nowhere.

My conscience reflects my inner thoughts,
I shared some pain,
Some misery,
That my mind has constantly fought.
I'm on a journey to nowhere.

I pray for hope,
So my soul could be utterly free,
I lift my spirit toward the heavens,
And ask God to forgive me.
I'm on a journey to nowhere.

Maybe I could find a place where my soul could rest,
To relieve this tension,
So I could relieve this load of stress.
I see the reflection of my metaphor;
I saw a golden gate at the end of the door.

I'll keep searching
until my mission is complete,
A place where there is peace and quiet
Where roses blossom among the meek.
I'm on a journey to nowhere.

      Forgiveness

Often at times I find myself
Running from the past,
Sometimes I wonder how long
This pain will last.
Then I realize I have to be forgiving.

Often at times I feel
Ashamed,
Wonder if I have
The power to blame.
Then I realize I have to be forgiving.

As our Savior Jesus Christ once said,
"You must forgive your brother
Not seven times
But up to seventy-seven times."
Then I realize I have to be forgiving.

Is bitter hatred
The key to bad health
And the act of forgiveness
The door to great wealth?.
Then I realize I have to be forgiving.

I often pray to God to forgive me for my transgression,
But the Bible said I must be willing to forgive
In order to receive
Forgiveness for my confession.
Then I realize I have to be forgiving.

No matter how many times my brother sins against me in order to destroy
My frame of mind of peace,
I must be forgiving in order to find
The glory and prosperity in life which will lie ahead of me.
Then I realize I have to be forgiving.

I'm imperfect and often
At times I do sin,
And look for forgiveness
In the end.
Then I realize I have to be forgiving.

            Mother

She nurtures you from an infant to adulthood
She pampers you,
She cherishes you,
She builds up your self-esteem,
She instills superb morals in you
And disciplines you to live a life that brings forth good dreams.

She paves a broad road for you that leads you into woman or manhood,
She teaches you the importance of what it means to be morally good.
She preaches that morality and demands respect,
Because life is about principles and she wants you to pass the test.
She's there when you are sick and makes it all better.
She's there when you fall, and kisses the pain away,
She's there when you need her each and every day

Mothers are not perfect, they makes mistakes too,
If often at times we'll remember they're human,
Not made of wood and glue.
Mothers have hearts of gold,
And their wisdom is a blessing from God,
We should each love our mother,
Because she is the only mother we've got.

Mothers are a rare, priceless gift from God,
Even though at times they often use the rod.
Mother loves you unconditionally,
She teaches you the value of unity and peace.
"Mother," is the spoken word upon every innocent child's breath.
Mothers are our foundation, our glory of good health.
Mothers are mothers all over the world,
They are a precious gemstone, a new found pearl.

                  21st Century

What will the world be in the 21st century?
Will it be a paradise garden of superb vision?
Will life exist among the heavens and upon the earth?
Will man have control of the entire universe?

What will the world be in the 21st century?
Will peace and unity unite all humans as one?
Will the food be plenty and the earth a heavenly bond?
Will children and animals play in the fields?
Will home be bountiful; no more sickness or illness?
Will pollution cease along with greed?
Will money find a place in this symbolic seed?
Will the old grow young and never die?
What lies in place of the 21st century prize?

What will the world be in the 21st century?
Who will be a part of this earth, pictorially?
Will war, crime and lawlessness cease?
What does the 21st century have in store for this world of peace?

What will the world be in the 21st century?
Will our immortal souls be there to see?
What exactly is this century going to be?
What will the world be in the 21st century?
