Inside Wire Maintenance Inside Wire Maintenance is another valuable service plan that is available to all GVTC residential and business customers. This monthly service provides repair protection for the telephone jacks and wiring inside customers’ homes and offices. This plan is designed to protect GVTC customers from unexpected repair charges, in the event that a problem is found within inside telephone wire/s or jacks. The list below features a short description of each of the Custom
Calling Features that we offer. There are bound to be several that you
will find to be indispensable.
* All prices incurred monthly and include $1.00 for
the required Call Forwarding Busy and Call Forwarding Don't Answer. OPTIONS
Call Waiting - $2.25 Res / $3.75 Bus Call Waiting allows the subscriber to be notified of an incoming call while they are using the telephone and allows them to answer that call without disconnecting the first. Call Waiting ID - $4.00 Res / $5.00 Bus This convenient feature allows you to see the name and number of the person calling you, even if you are already on the line. Cancel Call Waiting - $.25 Res / $.75 Bus This feature allows you to cancel Call Waiting before or during one telephone call. You may also program your computer to dial *70 before your Internet access phone number to prevent your Call Waiting tone from terminating your connection. Three-Way Calling - $3.50 Res / $4.50 Bus The Three Way Calling feature allows you to add a third party, local or long distance, to an existing telephone conversation. Anonymous Call Rejection - $1.00 Res/Bus Anonymous Call Rejection allows you to block calls from anyone who blocks their number from being read by your caller ID. Auto Redial - $4.00 Res / $4.50 Bus Auto Redial redials the last outgoing telephone number dialed from your line, regardless of whether the call was answered, unanswered, or Busy. You can place or get other calls while Auto Redial is active, and you can auto redial more than one number at a time. A special ring signals you when the number is available. Caller ID GVTC Caller ID is actually provided as a combination of 2 distinct services which can be subscribed to separately or together, for a discounted price.
Call Blocker - $4.00 Res / $4.50 Bus Call Blocker can reject specific incoming calls from a designated list of six (6) telephone numbers. You can block the number of the last call you received, even if you don't know the phone number from which it came. Call Return - $4.00 Res / $4.50 Bus Call Return allows you to automatically return the last incoming call from specific areas, whether you answer it or not. You don't have to know who called or the number. If the number you call back is Busy, it will keep trying for 30 minutes and then let you know with a special ring when the Busy number is free. Call Trace - $8.00 Per Each Successful Trace Allows you to trace the last incoming call. This information is only provided to law enforcement agencies upon the serving of a subpoena. Priority Call - $2.00 Res / $3.00 Bus With Priority Call you can give a designated list of six (6) special callers a "priority" status. When you receive a call from one of them, you will get a special ring. Selective Call Acceptance - $2.00 Res / $3.00 Bus Allows you to create a list of up to six (6) numbers you want to accept calls from. Only these (6) numbers will ring on your line. Selective Call Forwarding - $2.00 Res / $3.50 Bus Allows you to create a list of up to six (6) numbers you want to forward. Forward only the important calls, all other calls will ring at your home. Toll Control With PIN - $1.75 Res / $2.25 Bus Provides a subscriber a Personal Identification Number (PIN), which must be dialed in order to make a toll call. No toll calls will be allowed without use of the PIN. Voice Data Protection - $.75 Res/Bus Allows you to suspend Call Waiting on a permanent basis. Remains in effect until deactivated by customer. Warm Line Alert - $3.00 Res/Bus Allows you to call a predesignated number by simply lifting the handset. Distinctive Ring - $3.50 Res / $5.00 Bus Upon Signing up for Distinctive Ring you will receive a second telephone number assigned to your existing telephone line. This number is your Distinctive Ring telephone number. Calls to this number will ring with a distinct ringing pattern - two short consecutive rings. Do Not Disturb With PIN - $2.50 Res/Bus When activated, this feature blocks calls from anyone who does not enter the PIN (personal identifications number) you have chosen. Call Forwarding - $2.75 Res / $4.50 Bus This feature forwards calls when your phone is not answered after approximately 4 rings. You can also set it up so that your calls are forwarded when your line is Busy. Remote Activation of Call Forwarding - $1.25 Res / $2.75 Bus This feature allows you to activate or deactivate your Call Forwarding (to which you must also subscribe) or change the number to which your calls are being forwarded, from a remote location. Call Transfer - $1.25 Res / $3.00 Bus This feature allows a person at the subscriber's location to transfer a call placed or received on that line to another directory number. Speed Calling (Abbreviated Dialing) - $3.50 Res / $4.00 Bus Speed Calling provides one-digit codes for up to 8 of the telephone numbers you call most. You can dial both local and long distance calls with Speed Calling. |
