Toll Control With PIN - $1.75 Res / $2.25 Bus

Provides a subscriber a Personal Identification Number (PIN), which must be dialed in order to make a toll call. No toll calls will be allowed without use of the PIN. Before you can use this feature, you must program your PIN number into your telephone.

Instructions for Adding and Changing your PIN may vary in certain areas. Please contact the telephone company for specific instructions

INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION:

Add Original PIN

To Activate:

1. Pick up phone and listen for dial tone.
   
2. Press *12.
   
3. Dial code given to you by the telephone company, followed by the # sign.
   
4. Dial your chosen PIN number (1-7 digits using 0-9), followed by the # sign.
   
5. Repeat you PIN followed by the # sign, then hang up.

To Place a Long Distance Call:

1. Pick up the phone and listen for dial tone.
   
2. Press *13.
   
3. Dial PIN number followed by the # sign.
   
4. Listen for a coded dial tone.
   
5. Place toll call.

To Change PIN Number:

1. Pick up the phone and listen for dial tone.
   
2. Press *12.
   
3. Dial old PIN number, followed by the # sign.
   
4. Dial new PIN number followed by the # sign.
   
5. Repeat new PIN number again followed by the # sign, then hang up.

Things to Remember:

• After pressing the *12, to add or change your PIN, immediately proceed to the next step. If there is a pause between these steps the PIN will not be activated.
