About Us

Electronic MicroSystems, LLC (EMS) was established in January 1999 with the primary business objective of providing engineering consulting services specializing in the area of engine control system design and development.  EMS has provided consulting services to engine manufacturers, research and development organizations, and government clients.  We have developed engine control solutions for gasoline, diesel, CNG, LNG, and LPG engines, in a variety of applications.

Since the company’s inception, we have expanded our focus to include product development activities of our own.  Currently our products include several full-authority engine control system platforms, and other control related products.  One may be suitable for your application, if not let us know, we may currently be working on what you need.

Early in 2004 EMS relocated to a larger facility and set out to further expand our in-house capabilities.  As an extension of the engineering services and products we offer, we have expanded our staff and have added engine test facilities that are now available on a contract basis.  Our in-house engine test facilities allow us to work more efficiently as development engineers for our clients and also allow us to offer dedicated engine testing services to other clients.  In late 2006 EMS commissioned a 175 hp full transient capable emissions test cell.  Further facilities and staff expansion is ongoing and includes heavy duty transient emissions test cells for engines up through 600 hp.  We are committed to providing the highest quality engine development and testing services at a competitive price and provide true value to our clients.
