Meet Buttons, our Jersey

Buttons is the 4th Jersey to grace our farm and our lives and we are tickled to have her join our family. She has the kindest eyes, the sweetest disposition and I can not wait to start milking her...

We are not interested in raising registered stock so she will be bred to our Dexter bull. Our main interest lies in having fresh milk, butter and ICE CREAM.

A little about the Jersey..

They are small in stature ranging from 800 to 1200 pounds, and adaptable to a wide range of climates.

They are intelligent and docile, with an inquisitive character, and are attractive.

They produce the highest butter fat content of any of the other 3 dairy breeds.
