Aspen was 22", with a scissors bite and full
dentition. She had a rich red heavy coat with nice overlay. She had
lots of drive, very devoted, with lots of focus and I depended on her
when I needed the stock moved. Her work ethic was unmatchable and she
lived to please. She was leery of strangers
the first 5 years of her life but once she got to know you, she was
your friend forever. She never forgot a friend. After five she would
go up to anyone but was reserved and after sniffing you out would decide
if you were worth her time...mostly she chose to be everyones friend. We worked on herding, agility, and obedience and hoped to one day venture into the obedience ring but that was not to be. She loved to work for me at home but just hated to go anywhere. I always said if we can't both enjoy it it wasn't worth it so we enjoyed working together as a team at home where she shined and was in her element. I don't think I will ever find a Terv that loved to work and please as much as she did and one that lived to go out and do something for and with Jack and I. She just never stopped! |
