Kuper is 25 1/2" and square. He has excellent movement both front and rear with a nice extended side gait. He has a scissors bite with full dentition, a nice eye with lots of expression and is a very honest dog with moderate drive. He is smart with a huge sense of humor, intuitive, and my constant shadow.

He takes his job of "King of the manor" very seriously watching over all of us and the farm. He is a very kind and loving dog, and has a wonderful correct temperament.

His show carreer started off with a bang in March of 2003 with a major win, then after placing both in the puppy sweeps and regular classes at the 2003 ABTC national we had to take a break from showing. We ventured back into the ring in the summer of 2004 where he was awarded Best of Breed over several specials for his second major. Again life got in the way and we were unable to get back in the ring until 2006...Kuper took his third major in March 2006. We were able to maintain our momentum and added two more wins in July 2006 to finish his championship.

Many thanks to Lori and Kelly Keele who intrusted Kuper to me. I still remember walking around the side of their house and seeing the puppies in the pen looking at me....Yellow collar had caught my eye almost from day one. I wanted the right pup... so I took each one out of the pen to a new area and put them through some tests, then I sat in the pen with them watching them play and interact with Bab's, Lori and litter mates... finally Lori and Bab's, at the same time couldn't take it any longer, looked at me and said at the same time...WELL, WHICH ONE IS IT??? I said you wont let me make a mistake will you? They shook their heads no and I said well I like yellow, he's just what I want... They said you picked the right one....and he IS!!

What's in a name....Right before we got Küper a dear friend of ours was tragically killed. His last name was "Cooper". I started a search on the word Cooper and came up with Küper, a very old Gailic name meaning "Strength of God", together with "Toujours Jeune" which means Forever Young I thought it was a very good name for him.
