Here's my little space on the World Wide Web. I thought I would share with those who stumble across this site, things that interest me, and perhaps you.

Motorcycles!! Click here for pictures of our bikes (yes, the wife rides too!) and here for some pictures of the trips we have taken. And if you're interested, here are some local links of motorcycling interest...Texas Motorcycling Rights Association...the Hill Country Chapter of the Southern Cruisers...a local ride calendar...just one motorcycle discussion group...a local repair place...and more to come.

How about politics? The great taboo subject. I have become somewhat active here lately in politics, more accurately, the Libertarian Party because I think the Demopublicans have long since forgotten what this great country is all about. So much so, that currently I am the secretary of the our local party, the Hays County Libertarians. We currently have a Yahoo Discussion group, and welcome anyone who wants to join, or simply ask questions about the Party. And if you're in Texas, there's the State Party's web site. Visit the sites...learn about the Party...support the Party...and stop electing the same people every year who continue to destroy the very foundations on which this country was founded. Learn about Bills before congress at THOMAS. And while you're at it, visit my blog and learn about some of the disturbing things I read almost every day in the news.

Just for the record, here's two documents, the BOR and the Constitution, that the President, our very own George Bush, thinks are just a "goddamned piece of paper".

Get interested and get off your arse and do something! And it's so easy nowadays to write your representatives (and I use that term very, VERY loosely). Call the President at 202-456-1414 because you CAN'T email him (seems that service has been disconnected). Visit this site to find out information on Bills before Congress, Votes cast, members of Congress and Media contacts. All specific for your area. There are other great sites out there, and they make it all TOO EASY for you to get involved.

Speaking of history, I have developed somewhat of an interest in my beginnings (the Thompson's were here in this country in 1640!), and through my research, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I am related, albeit indirectly, to such people as Abraham Lincoln, and the singer Johnny Cash! I'll be quick to point out though, that much of this research is at the expense of REAL reseachers and places like this, on the Internet.
