This shot was taken from the USS Parsons DD-949 in approximately 1963 or 1964.

I think we were transferring the Chaplin, but I'm not sure anymore.  It seems like we got him just a little wet in the process.
Here is a picture of me (with the blue jacket) taken on the Parsons in 1963.  That's my boss on the left.
I just threw this one in so you could remember how great destroyer duty was!!
