612. Sir John Maitland 5th Earl of Lauderdale was born in 1656. He died on 30 Aug 1710. At the death of his brother Richard, John became the 5th Earl of Lauderdale. He was a Senator of the College of Justice with the title of Lord Ravelrig 1689-1710 and was also created a Baronet of Nova Scotia in 1680.
