The Who Guide is a walkthrough of Alliance Dungeons from across all of Azeroth. It is broken down to tell you how to get there, who you’ll face, and what to grab while you’re there. Each section has a complete walk-through of the dungeon so that you will know exactly where to go. Following the links to the individual Dungeons are the Guild rules for raids and looting rules that apply to raid and non-raid parties.

  GUILD LOOT RULES

These rules were originally posted by the Guild Leader, Myrkenwar, on the Who forum web-page on November 5, 2005. Adhearance to these rules is mandatory for all guild members for both raid and non-raid parties. They were drafted to ensure fair distribution of rare or better loot so that everyone has an equal chance of getting the most out of a raid. Any violations of the looting rules should be immediately reported to the Guild Raid Officer or any other officer available.

1)                 When considering rolling for an item, the ONLY character that counts is the character you are using at that moment. Any other character you have, whether main or alt, has NO bearing on the roll and you should then roll accordingly.

2)                 If you have previously won a blue/purple item in the instance/group and another blue item drops that you can use, you MAY NOT ROLL ‘NEED’ on that item unless:

a.                  No one else can use the item

b.                 Everyone else that could also use the item has already won a blue item

c.                  Everyone else that could also use the item states that they do not want the item (be sure to thank them!)

3)                 There is no third rule

4)                 You are expected to adhere to these rules even if non-guildies in your group are not following the same rules or are blatantly ninja-looting. Stooping to the level of the ninja-looter does nothing but make you as pathetic as they are.

5)                 Any violations of these rules are grounds for being removed from the guild.

Them be the rules… Stick to them. Use “Group Loot” and roll accordingly. Be mindful of your fellow ‘Who’ and remember that we’re here to help each other on that long push towards Level-60.

  GUILD EVENT RULES

The following rules are more guidelines on the forming of raids and conduct during them. Leroy Jenkins may be funny… but getting wiped out is bothersome.

1)                 Guild Raid events will be co-ordinated on the Guild Forum Web Site. Raids for Friday and Saturday night will be posted the Monday prior so that there is ample time to sign-up for a raid. Requests for certain raids can be forwarded to the Guild Raid Officer.

2)                 Raids will be limited to the maximum number of members that will allow for completion of quests and dropping of certain rare items. In most cases this will be five party members and additional runs for that particular raid will be made if need be.

a.                 Guild members desiring to participate will be able to sign up for the raid as soon as it is posted. The Guild Raid Officer will review the sign-ups prior to the start of the raid. If there is enough participants to warrant additional parties the Guild Raid Officer will determine the final number of parties and their compositions.

b.                 There is no rules to the level or class of participants, but please try to keep requests to participate reasonable (i.e. there will be no Level-10 members taken into the Deadmines no matter what the rest of the party is made of and a level-60, while welcomed, may be passed over for someone with more to gain from the run).

c.                  Anyone who does not sign up for a raid may make a request to participate to the Guild Raid Officer on the night of the raid anytime prior to the start time. The member will be considered for participation should any participant not show up or if there has not been enough people signed up to fill the run on a first come-first served basis.

3)                 In fine Who tradtion… there is no third rule… we just don’t like them.

4)                 Raid participants will meet at the appropriate meeting stone 15 minutes prior to posted start time. The Guild Raid Officer will make any last minute party adjustments if needed and appoint a Party Leader. The raid will begin no later than the posted start time without exception, so visit your bank ahead of time.

5)                 Party members will be expected to follow the lead of the Party Leader and strictly follow the Guild Loot Rules during the Raid.

6)                 The party will only disband once the party is finished with the Instance and all members have returned to the nearest safe town.

7)                 Any violations of these or the Guild Loot rules should be brought to the attention of a Guild Officer. Violations will be reviewed by the Guild Leader and may be grounds for dismissal from the Guild. Any violators of these rules who are not removed from the Guild will be considered last for subsequent raids for a period to be determined by the Guild Leader.

Group/Raid Leaders!

During a Guild led run, please take a Snapshot at sometime during the run, either a posed group shot or during a particularly fun battle. Make sure the entire party is in the shot. Find the picture in the World of Warcraft\Sceenshots\ folder and send it to:

warren1333@msn.com

Please include the name of the instance, the date, and the name, level, and class of each participant, Who or not. See our first Guild Run photo as an example. Happy Raiding!
