These secrets are recorded on the fabled Discs of Norgannon – massive artifacts that lie at the bottom of the ancient city, protected by giant constructs of living stone.”

 Quests

 

*     Power Stones [36]Rigglefuzz in the Valley of Fangs asks you to bring him 8 Dentrium Power Stones and 8 An’Alleum Power stones from Uldaman. These are dropped by dwarves both inside and outside of the instance.

 

*     Solution to Doom [40]Theldune the Lost wants you to retrieve Tablet of Ryun’eh. It can be found in a chest in the Sealed Room near Dig Site One before entering the instance.

 

*     Reclaimed Treasures [43]Krom Stoutarm in the Hall of Explorers in Ironforge asks you to bring him his lost treasure, which can be found in the North Common Hall before entering the instance.

 

*     The Lost Dwarves Quest Series, 2 parts – The Lost Dwarves [40], Prospector Stormpike in the Hall of Explorers asks you to find his friend Baelog and his band of Dwarves. You’ll find Baelog in Dig Site Two inside the instance. The Hidden Chamber [40], Baelog will ask you to explore a Hidden Chamber which you can reach through the Map Room. Opening the door releases Ironya, a stone giant. Kill her, explore the chamber, and report back to Prospector Stormpike.

 

*     The Shattered Necklace Quest Series, 5 Parts – Kill dwarves outside of the instance in Uldaman until one drops a [Shattered Necklace]. Clicking on it will offer the first quest. The Shattered Necklace [41],

 

*     Agmond’s Fate

 

*     Prospect of Faith and The Lost Tablets of Will Quest Series, 9 Parts – Look for a [Crumpled Map] on the ground beside a table near two dwarves standing on the upper ridge just north of Prospector Ryedol, who can be found at the excavation site southeast of Angor Fortress. This will give you the first quest. A Sign of Hope [35], take the [Crumpled Map] to Prospector Ryedol. A Sign of Hope [35], Ryedol will send you to find Hammertoe Grez in Uldaman. Find Hammertoe just before you get to the instance portal. Ammulet of Secrets [40], Hammertoe sends you track down Magregan Deepshadow and retirieve his Amulet. Find Magrean in the Sealed hall near the Tablets of Ryun’eh, get the Amulet, and return to Hammertoe. Prospect of Faith [40], Hammertoe then sends you back to Prospector Ryedol with the Amulet. Prospect of Faith [40], Prospector Ryedol will send you to talk to Historian Karnik in the Hall of Explorers. Passing Word of a Threat [40], Historian Karnik gives you a note to take to Advisor Belgrum in the Hall of Explorers. Passing Word of a Threat [40], Advisor Belgrum reads the note and tells you to return to Karnik. Ambassador of Evil [44], Karnik orders you to kill Ambassador Infernus, who can be found inside Angor Fortress in the Badlands, and return to Belgrum with proof of your deed. The Lost Tablets of Will [45] Advisor Belgrum will now ask you to retrieve the Tablet of Will, which can be found inside Dig Site Three.

 

*     The Platinum Discs [47] Quest Series, 3 parts – Part 1; After defeating the final boss, click on the Platinum Discs in the room to start the quest. A dwarf will appear. Talk to him and accept his quest. You’ll again click on the [Platinum Discs] and receive a set of miniature discs. Part 2; Take the miniature disks to High Explorer Magellas of the Explorer’s League in Ironforge. As gratitude she gives you a voucher. Part 3; Take the voucher to Dinita Stonemantle at the Ironforge Vault to retrieve your rewards, including a 14-slot bag!

 

*     Uldaman Reagent Run – This is the second of two reagent runs that can be picked up in Loch Modan for the Badlands. Ghak Healtouch in Thelsamer will give you the Badlands Reagent Run [39]. Head into the Badlands heading due south, killing buzzards for 5 gizzards and crag coyotes for 5 fangs as you go. Just past Agmond’s End you’ll find Thelduran the Lost. Behind him, up in the hills, you’ll find a nest of elementals that will drop the final reagent. Get your 5 rock shards and return to Thelsamar, finishing off your gizzards and fangs on your way. After you turn in the Badlands Reagent Run you’ll be able to get the Uldaman Reagent Run [42] from Ghak. This time he asks you to pick up 12 stacks of Magenta Fungus Caps inside of Uldaman.

 

*     Power in Uldaman [40, Mage]Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh sends you to retrieve an Obsidian Power Source from the obsidian sentinel in Uldaman.

 

SUGGESTED ORDER OF COMPLETION

There is a large number of quests for Uldaman that take you all over the Badlands, Loch Modan, and Ironforge (18 quest in all!). With a little strategy you can make quick work of these quests and keep you Quest Log from filling up too much. The numbers in parentheses are how many quests you will have after picking up each quest.

 

Go to the Hall of Explorer’s in Ironforge. Find Prospector Stormpike and see if he will give you The Lost Dwarves, put don’t grab it if he will. See below if he will not. If so, pick up Ironband Wants You!(1) From Stormpike and Reclaimed Treasures(2) from Krom Stoutarm. Fly to Thelsamar in Loch Modan. Pick up Badlands Reagent Run(3) from Ghak Healtouch. Travel to Ironband’s Excavation Site. Turn in Ironband Wants you and pick up Find Agmond(3). Head into the Badlands. Find Rigglefuzz in the Valley of Fangs and pick up Power Stones(4). Continue south, working on Badlands Reagent Run as you go. Find Agmond and pick up Murdaloc(4). Complete Murdaloc and then find Theldune the Lost to pick up Solution to Doom(5). In the hills above Theldune kill the Rock Elements until you have enough shards for Badlands Reagent Run. Head north toward Loch Modan, completing Badlands Reagent Run as you go. Stop and pick up A Sign of Hope(6) and then the second A Sign of Hope(6) near Prospector Ryedol. Travel to Thelsamar to turn in Badlands Reagent Run and pick up Uldaman Reagent Run(6), then Ironband’s Excavation Site to turn in Murdaloc for Agmond’s Fate(6). Go to Uldaman. Start on Power Stones and Agmond’s Fate, also look for the Shattered Necklace. If you get it, don’t start the quest yet but hold onto the necklace. Find Hammertoe to get Ammulet of Secrets(6). Get the lost treasure for Stoutarm in the North Common Hall. Enter the Sealed room and kill Magregan Deepshadow and collect both the Ammulet of Secrets and the Tablet of Ryun’eh. Return to Hammertoe and get Prospect of Faith(6). Go back to Prospector Ryedol and get the second Prospect of Faith(6). Travel back to Theldune and turn in Solution to Doom(5). Head for Loch Modan. If you had not yet completed Badlands Reagent Run do so now on your return. If you’ve completed Power Stones or Agmond’s Fate then go ahead and turn them in. Fly to Ironforge from Thelsamar. Turn in Reclaimed Treasures(4) and pick up The Lost Dwarves(5) from Ironband at this time. Turn in Prospect of Faith and then quickly complete the first Passing Word of a Threat(6), the second Passing Word of a Threat(6), and then pick up Ambassador of Evil(6). Open up the Shattered Necklace quest and accept The Shattered Necklace(6). Go seeTalvash del Kissel to turn in The Shattered Necklace, complete Lore for a Price(6), and pick up Back to Uldaman(6). Travel back to the Badlands to Angor Fortress to kill Ambassador Infernus. Continue on the Power Stones or Badlands Reagent Run if need be as you travel to Angor Fortress and back. Return to Ironforge, turn in Ambassador of Evil, and pick up The Lost Tablets of Will(6). Travel back to Uldaman. Try to complete either Power Stones or Agmond’s Fate prior to starting the instance. Turning in at least one of these will keep your quest log from going over 6 quests.

 

Enter the Uldaman Instance. Begin looking for the mushrooms for Uldaman Reagent Run. Find the Paladin’s Remains in the Hall of Keepers and pick up Find the Gems(6). On the opposite side of the Hall of Keepers find the Lost Dwarves and pick up the Hidden Chamber(6). Also grab the Topaz gem. Get the Gni’kiv Medallion from Baelog’s Chest and then find and kill Revelosh for the Shaft of Tsol. Continue on into the Map Room. Combine the Gni’kiv Medallion and the Shaft of Tsol and place it in the city map in the middle of the room. Release and kill Ironya and search the Hidden Chamber to complete the quest. NOTE: Past the Map room in an offshoot to the left will be the Obsidian Sentinel for the Mage Quest Power in Uldaman. Continue down to Dig Site Three. Find the Ruby gem and the Tablets of Will to complete the Lost Tablets of Will. Find Grimlock the Stonevault Chieftain and kill him for the Sapphire Gem to complete the Find the Gems quest. Use the Phial of Scyring to pick up Restoring the Necklace(6). Continue down into the Hall of the Crafters and face Archaedas. Kill him to collect the power source to complete Restoring the Necklace. Find the Platinum Discs, click on them, talk to the dwarf that appears to pick up the first part of Platinum Discs(7). Click on the discs again to accept the second part of Platinum Discs(7).

 

Leave the entrance, picking up any extra mushrooms that you may need for the Uldaman Badlands Run. Outside of the instance, complete Agmond’s Fate and Power Stones. Head down to Rigglefuzz to turn in Power Stones(6). Travel to Ironband’s Excavation Site to turn in Agmond’s Fate(5), and then head over to Thelsamar to turn in Uldaman Reagents Run(4) before catching a griffin to Ironforge. Go to the Hall of Explorer’s and turn in The Hidden Chamber(3), The Lost Tablets of Will(2), and get the third part of Platinum Discs(2) from High Explorer Magellas. Turn in Restoring the Necklace(1) to Talvash del Kissel, and finally, turn in the final part of Platinum Discs to Dinita Stonemantle at the Ironfroge Vault to receive your 14-slot bag(Complete).

 

If Prospector Stormpike will not give you The Lost Dwarves…

If you cannot pick up The Lost Dwarves, travel to Hillsbrad Foothills and search the two Syndicate Camps for an Encrypted Letter in the plateaus above Tarren Mill. Take the letter to Loremaster Dibbs in Southshore who will send you to Stormpike to decipher the letter. If Stormpike will now give you The Lost Dwarves, continue with the Uldaman quests, otherwise… return to Southshore and speak with the Magistrate, who will ask you to kill Nagaz, a syndicate mage that can be found on the first floor of a two story house on the northern shore of the large lake on the western edge of the Alterac Mountains. You will also have to kill 4 mages before returning to Southshore. These can be found at the house, throughout the valley to the southeast, and in the deserted town at the opposite end of the valley. Turn in the quest in Southshore and you should now be able to pick up the Lost Dwarves.

*     Use the back door if you’re just there for the mage quest Power in Uldaman or if you want to visit the Master Alchemist. You’ll have to defeat the Stone Golem, but it’s a much shorter fight than going in the front.

*     The Shattered Necklace. It will drop off of a random dwarf. This begins the Shattered Necklace Quest Series. You’ll need 5 bars of silver to complete the series.
