Our church's annual Thanksgiving Service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26th and the time will be announced at a later date.

The goal is to have the table covered with numerous items that represents all of our blessings and thankfulness. Items can be home grown, but also could include work, family, country etc. Please have items on the front bench in the sanctuary by noon on Wednesday.

CHRISTMAS BAG LIST

A Christmas Bag list will be posted in the Vestibule in December for children 12 years and under who will be here for the Christmas program.

SHE'S DONE IT AGAIN

The catalog has such beautiful banners and I can't resist! That's the reason Lu Fullilove has donated another beautiful Banner. Thank you Lu!.

CHRISTGIVING DINNER

will be Dec. 7th

As always the Lydia Circle will furnish the Turkey, Dressing, Rolls & Tea. All families are asked to bring side dishes of vegetables, salads or desserts to serve 8 to 10.

POINSETTIAS

FOR CHRISTMAS

As soon as information is received regarding the price of the plants, an insert will be in the Sunday Morning Bulletin regarding purchasing Poinsettias for the church.

Thanking you in advance for helping make our sanctuary beautiful during the Christmas Season.

While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish carriage. The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor, because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand printed sign.."Energy efficient vehicle: Runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not step in exhaust."

WORLD WAR I BANNER

The World War I Banner was made sometime around 1917-1919. There are hand drawn stars on a white background with a wide red border. Initials of each member that served from the Monthalia Methodist Church are on each star. "Gold Star" is written on a star for Alvin Tolle and Alfred Tieken who died during their service for our country.

This banner is on display in the

Fellowship Hall.

REUNIONS

The Lindemann and Philippus families held their respective reunions at our church in October.

---

Since 2002 the Pumpkin Patch has sold over $16,000.00 in pumpkins, not including this year. Of this amount, the Evangelism Committee has made over $4000.00 or 25% of the sales to use for their special projects.

Our church family has worked many hours and has had lots of fun with visitors and children that come to the Patch.
